Networking report from Friday 30^th April 2010 networking event on Islamic Finance theme

The event started with its usual networking reception with guests making introductions and meeting each other. We had a good mix of professional in attendance from organisations such as:

BMB Islamic

HSBC Amanah

Irwin Mitchell

Howells Solicitors

Ummah Designs and many more.

The guest speakers Umer Majid and Mufti Talha Ahmad spoke on the hugely popular Islamic Finance movement. There was dedication and strong belief from both speakers on the finer details of Islamic Finance and this was subsequently followed up with the audience participation in a lively interactive debate.

Finally the food was served and for those who stayed late into the night there was the extra treating of ‘Asian’ Tea!
